Privacy Policy

Christian American Healthcare Corporation (“we,” “us,” or “the ministry”) respects your privacy. This policy explains, in plain language, what information we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it. We collect as little as we can, and we never sell or rent it.

What we collect

• When you join our email list: your email address.
• When you give a gift: your name, email address, gift amount, and gift date. If you name someone in honor or memory, we collect that name as you provide it.
• When you create a community account: your email address (we use a secure sign-in link — we never ask you to create or store a password with us).
• When you post a prayer, memorial, or note of love: the text, names, dates, hometown, and any photograph you choose to upload. Please share only what you are comfortable making public.

What we never collect

We never see or store your card number. All payments are processed by Stripe, a certified payment processor. Your card details go directly to Stripe and never touch our systems.

We do not collect health or medical information through this website. Please do not send us medical records, diagnoses, or other health details through this site or its forms.

How we use your information

• To send your tax receipt and gift acknowledgment.
• To send ministry updates and news about the care your gifts make possible — only if you asked for them.
• To publish prayers, memorials, and notes of love that you submit, after review by a moderator.
• To keep accurate financial and donor records as required of a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation.

What is public, and what is not

Prayers, memorials, and notes of love are public by design — that is their purpose. They appear on the site only after a moderator approves them. Your gift amount is never published. Your email address is never published.

Who we share information with

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share our donor or email list with anyone. We use a small number of trusted service providers who process information only on our behalf and only to run this ministry:

• Stripe — payment processing and receipts.
• Supabase — secure database and photo storage.
• Resend — sending email.
• Vercel — website hosting.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the safety and rights of the ministry and those we serve.

Email — and how to stop it

Every email we send includes our mailing address and a one-click unsubscribe link. You may unsubscribe at any time and we will honor it promptly. Unsubscribing from email does not cancel a recurring gift — see our Donation Policy for how to change or cancel a monthly gift.

Cookies

We use only the cookies necessary to keep you signed in and to complete a secure checkout. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not track you across other websites.

Children

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please contact us and we will remove it.

Your choices

You may ask us to correct or delete your information, remove a memorial or prayer you submitted, or tell us what we hold about you. Write to us at the address below and we will respond. We will keep the financial records that nonprofit and tax law require us to keep.

Security

We protect your information with encrypted connections, row-level database security, and access limited to those who need it. No system is perfect, but we take this trust seriously.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
